The Ranch House - Now Open for Comfort Food
When The Ranch House opened officially on February 15th, it wasn't really news to many Honolulu residents. Locals have been flocking to the 'Honolulu house of prime rib,' since late January. With a menu of comfort food like meat loaf, chicken fried steak, oxtail soup and mountains of freshly mashed potatoes with gravy, it seems that local folks can't get enough of the flavors that made the original Ranch House famous.
The revitalization of restaurants is becoming a passion of owner George Vandeman, who also owns Sergio's Italian Table at Hilton Hawaiian Village.
